A Feast of Friends

A Feast of Friends, inspired by Jim Morrison and the Doors and Nick Cave, with the themes of love, death, art and the pursuit of the dark and the sad, is hosted by DJ Nocturna and Co-hosted by Lana Saldania. A Feast of Friends explores Saudade, as defined by Nick Cave, as

An inexplicable longing, an unnamed and enigmatic yearning of the soul that lives in the realms of imagination and inspiration, the breeding ground for the sad song, the love song.

A Feast of Friends also explores the Duende- the love song who must first embrace the potential for pain- the true love song who resonates with the whispers of sorrow and the echoes of grief.   A Feast of Friends also flashbacks to the 80s scene, culture and music with the 12 inch, 80s dance remixes, the B Sides, New Wave, Darkwave, dark 80s, deathrock, goth, industrial, ethereal and rock with interviews and support of the Honolulu music, art and culture scene.
